Introduction, Part I: Rainshine Town

Wade sat atop the high cliffs overlooking the busy town, as the river running next to him crashed down as Prism Falls. This was his favorite place to think, as it was easy for him to tunnel up through the fine soil buried beneath the cliff's rocky walls and create a path that he, and only he could use. He did love this town's soil- earthy, damp, and easy to manipulate. It was only one of many reasons that he had decided to settle in this town those few months ago- as the town had its fair share of charms, such as the beautiful shining lake at the falls' basin, and the shimmering dew strewn upon the soft grass in the mornings, and the clouds of mist at falls' end filled with rainbows that only last for a second but you can swear you see them!- Wade's thoughts were drifting off again. He collected himself and took one more look over the town- when he spotted something unfamiliar. A bright orange dog-like pokémon, of the likes he had never seen in this area, that was taking a look around town, it seemed. He hopped back up and began to dig his way back down the cliff and through his organized system of tunnels underneath the town, and when he knew he was around the area he had seen the strange new pokémon, he dug upward as to appear near this stranger and confront them. As he broke the surface, though, he felt something above him- furry, emanating heat... Wade already had enough momentum that he couldn't stop moving, so as he crashed into this poor pokémon, he could only let it happen. When they had both landed on the ground, Wade stayed wrapped up in his drill formation- he didn't want to be yelled at...

Wade quickly got up and brushed himself off, declining the stranger's offer for help. He looked at the ground, feeling like an idiot. "I, uh, wasn't trying to hurt you... I'm sorry! I was just trying to quickly get over to you, well, because I wanted to ask who you were, but I didn't quite survey the area before drilling out from the ground..." He tried not to seem weak, but he was embarrassed. He adjusted his yellow-green scarf and quietly kicked some dirt into the hole he had created. "I get curious when I see new pokémon, and I haven't seen you around town before," he mumbled.

"My name's Wade," he said solemnly, as he turned away and prepared to drill back into the ground. "Sorry again."

Volt eyed the other pokemon at the guild. He rolled his eyes wondering why they had to be so noisy. He shrugged that comment off however, and began to make himself presentable so he could meet the others. He felt hesistant to do so, but inhaled and marched over near to them, standing a few feet apart. He kept his mouth shut and his eyes away from them so it seemed like he didn't care and that he was "well-behaved". He blinked a few times and turned his attention to view around the town.

Volt was surprised at first, almost falling onto his back, but he then shook his head and made a small remark about how roaring at another one wasn't such a good first impression. He reclaimed himself and decided he would view more land while he was here.

Growlithe walked away from the Merchant, nodding her head at the cheerful Linoone. She passed by the Smug-Looking Sheep, Sleepy Bird, and Clumsy Mole, looking for a place who was actually calm, and quiet. Growlie looks cold, but alls she wants is both silence, and accompaniment at the same time! She didnt have much friends in the past due to how she was raised, so this would be a tough feat for her- to make friends.

Turning around to face the Thing, she muttered, "My name.. It's Growlie. It's "Nice" to meet you." She looked around, seeing the town was back to its regular state. "Could you please give me a tour of the town? Im sure you're a local." She looked forward, scanning the area with her totally-not-robotic-at-all eyes. "By the way, sorry for, er, getting.. mad? Earlier. My fault."
