Taking Sunny’s advice, Cecil tried to shake himself awake. He pinched the bridge of his nose as they went along. Perhaps they’d really cross paths with a ‘wild’ Pokemon today. He barely got a look at the Pokemon in the forest- the idea of facing the aggressive force head-on was both frightening and… somehow thrilling. He looked back to the others, trying to scan their reactions to the news. The result wasn’t exactly what he had hoped for.
The foul glances between rescuers definitely didn’t improve his mood. It seemed that some of the rescuers’ minds were still back in Shinba Forest. Holding grudges, of course. Something Cecil didn’t understand. What happened in the past no longer mattered. The only important subject was the present, and the future as it became relevant. The past was certain- there was no use trying to change something so inescapable. He shuddered silently, clutching his mask a little closer, and continued to follow.

Wade continued on uncomfortably. Though the scarf wasn't of much importance, he hated the feeling of walking around without anything to wear, and the added feeling of Volt eyeing him and Growlie ignoring him wasn't helping him feel any better. "Cecil, you haven't seen my scarf anywhere, have you? If I lost it in the forest, I'll need to find a new one in the city..." Wade reddened the slightest bit, looking toward the horizon of the seemingly endless expanse of grass and wild flowers. "Was I wearing it when you came back to the room last night...?"

Volt glared at her and did not say more. Of course, trying to be friendly wouldn't help. He caught the slight irritation and uncomfortableness from her, so he decided to not do it again. Volt followed suit with the other rescuers, walking toward Commerce. He would be more invested in his surroundings, looking at trees trying to figure how tall they are or the sky or something to that liking, but things were troubling him. He walked faster without even noticing it, just wanting to get to their destination as soon as possible. Walking in quiet murmur along with crackling tension were definitely things that were bothering him.

Growlie sighed, taking glances at Wade- hoping she could send him brain signals or something. That was stupid. It didn't work. Whimpering, she lied on the ground and hid behind a few plants. "Do you think he's mad at me for something?" She asked Volt, "I don't even remember anything that happened yesterday! I thought we were friends.." The dog cried (in a very quiet voice). "This trip is going to be horrible.." she mumbled as Volt went fartger away. She'd try and catch up later. But she needed a while to herself- even if it meant for her to stay a little bit behind.

Volt heard her, stopped and stepped back a few steps. "Why don't you just go talk to him then?" He asked, narrowing his eyes. "I'm sure you two could work something out." Walking back forward again, he mumbled exasperatedly, "It's his problem, not mine." In the back of his mind, he really could care less if Wade and Growlie would ever talk to each other. He knew exactly that Wade and Growlie had no tension, and it was only himself and the mole. The thought came by again that he shouldn't hold the grudge, but he shook it off once more. Stubborn as usual and always irritatingly careless towards others.

Focus shifted to his partner. He stared blankly at where Wade’s scarf had been, just the day before, before returning his gaze. It took him a moment to respond. In truth, he hadn’t seen the Drilbur drop it. But if he had misplaced it in the forest, then… well, it was gone for good.“… No.” He replied bluntly, in the usual quiet monotone. He brought his mask up to cover part of his face, vacantly staring ahead. “Haven’t- …” His eyes darted to the side as he saw Growlie and Volt deviate from the path, but he didn’t think much of it. “- seen it. Since Shinba.”

"Well, Maybe I'd talk to him if I knew why he was even mad at me!!!" She cried at him; What he said got her a bit more upset- considering she really cared about Wade. A lot. "Maybe you're just mad because you don't have any ACTUAL friends!" Growlie screamed-- now THAT was something you would've heard if you payed attention hard enough. Possibly tearing up, the dog wiped her face, bearing her fangs immediately after. "You're the worst partner-- I never even asked for you to come and be such a- such a--- such a JERK!!!" She exclaimed after finally standing up again. Looking at him, she barked, before leaving Volt to himself.

Volt froze. Getting furious, he briskly walked back over to her once again. "The reason he's "mad at you" is because he thinks you're angry at him, for knocking you out back in Shinba!" He fiercely whispered, his expression livid. Looking around for a bit, he sourly added, "So what if I don't have friends? Nobody likes me anyway!" He only whispered so he didn't cause any more commotion like she was. Volt took a shaky breath and stiffly walked away, trying to get away from her as far as possible. He felt hot with shame as he felt a few glances thrown at him. He buried his nose into his chest fluff and kept his eyes downward.

"Oh... Well, thanks anyways. I'll just see if I can get a new one along with our supplies in Commerce." Wade looked up toward Cecil for a few moments before he was startled by some very furious shouting, hearing Volt call out an upsetting reminder of what Wade had done in Shinba Forest. He broke his gaze toward his partner and turned around, seeing both Volt and Growlie steaming, before Volt stormed away from his partner, stomping along and continuing to follow the group. Volt looked very hurt, leaving Wade wanting to comfort him, before remembering how passionately the sheep despised him. Staring at Volt for a few moments, Wade felt a sudden chill as a gust blew across the field, as he was so used to wearing his scarf by then. Wade uncomfortably turned forward yet again, hoping the other team's issues would resolve themselves. Not to mention the issues between him and Growlie...

Lunetta, unlike the others, was fully awake. Could it be because she slept through the past misson? MAYBE, but it OBVIOUSLY wasn't on purpose. And even if it was, Lunetta had nobody to wake her up. (not that she NEEDED anyone) At least, not anymore. Lunetta was a one man band, and she didn't need anyone to depend on from here on out.
The mission stated made Lunetta quiver with excitement. Her first real mission! On her own! She was living the dream. If the dream was going to Commerce Central to get more items. Maybe she'd pick up memorabilia, or a souvineer or something.

Cecil let out a long, barely audible groan. Despite its subtlety, it was meant for the commotion behind them. The spiteful quarrel seemed to never end- those two had battled well in Shinba, but it had been all downhill from there. Now, it was worth questioning if they’d ever get along. If they couldn’t get a hold of themselves… well, things looked bleak.
His expression brightened slightly as he spotted a familiar face tagging along behind them. Where had she been all this time? Cecil decided that, obviously, she must have had something different on her agenda. It didn’t even occur to him that she may have overslept… through the entirety of yesterday’s mission. Noticing that her partner was absent (and the other pair of rescuers were… busy), he tried to smile- turning his head toward his partner as if to beckon her closer.
Despite differences, almost everyone worked better in a team.

Unable to contain her fury, Growlie shouted at his back. Shouting was an overstatement, really, because all she did was bark, more than saying actual words. Eventually, she ran out of breath and ran further away from him- and the group as well. Eventually stopping to take a break, (Sunny's gang was still visible!) she rolled in the grass to punish it. "Stupid--" She tore off a piece of grass- "WADE!!!!" huffed Growlie, shoving her face into the ground and screaming into it. She hadn't been this upset in a long long time. "I hate this!!!!!!!!" Growlie shouted a muffled shout, beginning to cry a little even.

Volt didn't dare look back at her, his mind was focused on getting to their destination. Somehow ignoring her tantrum behind the teams, he was feeling hurt, and rather guilty about telling her all that, but he felt as if those two were being petty. He wished they could just talk to each other.
Yet again, he didn't.

Once the late sleeper had joined their troop, Cecil turned his head away- the smile remaining on his face. "Commerce Central." He cooed, looking thoughtful. "Have you been there before?" The question, directed at his scarf-less friend, made it seem like he was new to these parts.
If the teammates hadn't been side-by-side, the Yamask's voice may have been drowned by the quarrel further back. Entirely unbecoming, he may have commented- if he dared. Mortifying, even! But he kept his mouth shut, its corners curling into a pout. Best not to rub salt on the wound.

Stuffing her head into the ground wasn't going to help much. So, she only just watched the others walk away, staring at Volt's back with burning hate. She couldn't understand how he could be cruel! Growlie hadn't done anything, the only thing who happened was her being hit by some weird unknown force, and bam. She thought she died (well...... she was just unconscious obviously....). The only thing she wanted to do was, well, get attention from Wade. Who needed Volt? What a useless guy. FINALLY standing up, she walked behind the group in a steady pace so that she'd not make much contact with them. That is, if Edgar werent coming towards her. When he came around, he seemed to be asking her if she was............ Alright. What did he care? She was just a big ba- Strong lion. There. Yes. A strong Pyroar.
