Sunny looked onto the groggy crowd of hastily awoken explorers strongly. "I'm sure you're all wondering why I have you up this early," she said firmly. "Today, we have quite a trip to make. As of now, your teams are very low stocked and unprepared for any serious missions. I'm sure you all understand, after experiencing yesterday's mission." Sunny closed her eyes, but knew some dirty looks were thrown Wade's way. "We are going to be traveling to the great city of trade, Commerce Central, in order to improve the stock of our exploration teams." Mixed reactions were received from the explorers, some confused, some excited, all sleepy. "Another order of business today is that I will expect all of your teams to have official names by the time we return." Sunny strode to the front of the room, by the ladder to the surface, and stood up straight. "Nobody has any packing to do, right?" She smiled. "Let's be on our way, then." Sunny mounted the ladder and began to climb, Edgar tailing her.

"Another mission? Already?" she yawned. "It seems a bit too quick... even if its not necessarily a mission, she really has us working.." She said- in her monologue; gathering a look from Volt. Frowning at him, she mumbled- "Well, what are we going to name our.. team......?" Growlie asked, sitting on her tail. "I'm hoping you have a decent name, with that brain of yours."

Volt yawned and acknowledged the mission, nodding toward Sunny as if they respected each other like friends before she walked up the ladder. Upon hearing Growlie's grumbled question when he walked up next to her, he mumbled something under his breath, and then began to think. What did she mean when she said "that brain of yours" anyway?
"I thought you were going to name the—whatever, never mind." He scathingly replied. "Firebolt..? No, no...Thunderfire...Nah." He went through more possible names for their team insecurely, tapping his foot. (hoof? um) "Ah! How about the Shepherds? Team Shepherds?" He finally said, not raising his voice although he was a bit excited. He was hoping that she'd like it of course, because he wasn't going to think of anything else.

Wade sat up and tried to wake up a little bit. "Team names, huh..." He turned toward Cecil and flashed a weak smile. "We should get going! Don't wanna get left behind..." As Wade turned back around to look toward the ladder, he stopped and briefly stared at Growlie and her partner. He felt a pang of guilt, like he should apologize for what he'd done, but quickly thought Growlie would rather not hear anything from him at all and turned away. He started to climb the ladder, but went slowly until he was sure Cecil was following him. "I really have no clue what we're gonna name our team," he said softly as he started to climb faster. Climbing a ladder with huge claws really wasn't much fun. "Do you have any ideas, Cecil?"

Drowsy eyes stared up at the ceiling. Cecil would have preferred to stay in bed, where he was safe and comfortable. But he couldn’t refuse the wake-up call. Could he? He dismissed the thought with a stubborn groan, phasing through the blankets- by some means leaving them in shipshape. After scooping up his belongings left at the foot of his bed (draping his scarf over his arms, and holding his peculiar mask close), he followed his teammate into the hall… finding it awfully hard to stay awake during their guildmaster’s spiel. Commerce Central? Today’s ‘mission’ (if you could even call it that) sounded easy enough. He found it reassuring that they would be given a chance to prepare, unlike the sudden nature of their last mission. He sped up a bit, making sure his partner didn’t leave him behind again. He sounded his confirmation at the Drilbur’s comment. In all honesty, he wasn’t quite awake enough for much more than that- instead, he busied himself with the subject of a team name. “… Maybe we should build off of something we have in common.” He continued to follow the others, shooting his partner a fleeting glance. “At least we have all day to figure it out.”

Ignoring Volt for a moment, the second she felt a pair of eyes on her back she immediately turned around- seeing Wade climb the ladder. Why was he ignoring her! She missed him, even though it's been nearly a day since they've been apart. How nice.
Tuning back in to the conversation she had with Volt, she barely heard the last of his words- but luckily enough she caught them. "The Shepherds?" going into a hunting pose, she growled at him "Sounds great! Let's tell Sunny or Edgar, and then we can get moving!" She exclaimed right before barking (literally), and her long tail was already wagging in the air. Growlie smiled, ready to get started on the 'mission' to Central Commer- Er, Commerce Central!

Volt noticed that she zoned out for a second from his suggestions, but he knew the reason as to why, which bothered him. Was she upset that she didn't talk to Wade anymore? He held his frustration in, glaring at the Drilbur as he went up the ladder with his partner.
Volt was startled that Growlie was so excited about the newfound team name, but she might've been excited about the assignment given. "Yeah, alright.." Volt nodded quickly, still caught up in his own thoughts and drowsiness, as if Growlie's barking didn't wake him up all the way.

"Yeah. We probably shouldn't rush it." Wade reached the surface and climbed up onto solid ground, relieved to have made it through the climb without any slip-ups. As he stepped off the ladder, he tripped and lightly tumbled over to the side in the dim tent. Standing up, he watched his partner surface as well, and smiled a little to himself, glad that he could finally interact calmly with Cecil. Wade stepped outside, greeted warmly by the early morning sun. Breathing in, he moved forward and waited as more of the guild members followed, including His Cecil - I MEAN, his partner, Cecil.

Growlie stared at the ladder, sauntering over so she could paw at it. Because she was a dog she probably couldn't get up there without assistance. Obviously. "Volt!!" she called, sitting in front of the ladder, Let me ride y-- Er, I need help getting up here..!!" She chuckled, internally dive-bombing herself for saying such a weird thing. Hopefully he didn't catch that. "Please..." She asked, for the last time.

Volt paused and stared at her for a few seconds, which was actually more like a contemptuous glare, considering he heard what she said. "Sure, whatever. Get on," He said, stepping onto the ladder to wait for Growlie to get on his back, however she would.
The only way, he figured, was for her to bite into his fleece, which would probably be risky if she bit too hard. Still, it was better than her biting his tail any day. "Don't bite my tail, either!" He snapped, reminiscing on the last time she did.

Growlie looked at his tail, making a face she was glad Volt wouldn't see- as he was facing the ladder of course. Jumping upwards to grab on him, she probably left a few marks on him as she tried to get steady on his back. Stupid paws. Why couldn't she have hands? Nubs? Anything! "Go on!" she cried in his fleece, muffled by the cotton in her mouth. Does he ever wash this thing?

Following suit, Cecil soared up past the ladder- tugging his scarf ever closer as he went. This was one advantage of his spectral form. Simpler obstacles could simply be ignored. But despite his head-start, he still chose to tag along behind his teammate… making sure that he cleared the path for Growlie and Volt below. He didn’t want to be caught in the crossfire if things didn’t go as planned.
He hurriedly emerged after his partner had stumbled out of his path, and his eyes immediately narrowed as he met the light of day. He didn’t greet it quite as cheerfully. Eyes squinted shut, he began to adjust his scarf. He draped it over his head as a sort of cowl, finding that much more pleasant than dealing with the sun. With that he took his place beside his partner (casting a fleeting glance as he noticed his distinctive accessory was still missing), and braced himself to face the day.

The remaining members trudged outside as Wade daydreamed, looking toward the forest they had explored the mission before. When Sunny began to talk, he was pulled back into reality, hearing her demand that everyone follow her to the edge of town. As they walked, Wade looked to the side at his partner, but saw Volt shoot him a dirty look out of the corner of his eye. Wade was overcome with a wave of guilt yet again and he quickly looked forward, only to stop short as Sunny turned around. She stood up straight when she spoke. "Everyone, make sure you're fully awake as we leave. There are wild Pokémon in the fields between here and Commerce Central, so keep your guard up. Let's get moving, shall we?" The guild members nodded, and Sunny smiled, turning around and marching off the beaten path into the overgrown Spring Fields.
Wade took a step forward, and reached up to adjust his scarf, only to realize it was gone... again. Upon this realization, he groaned quietly, getting him a look from Cecil. Wade had no clue where he would have left the scarf, but luckily, it wasn't of much sentimental value; being something he'd just picked up from a lost & found back when he was in his old town. He'd just have to get another.

Volt was hiding the fact that he was glad that Wade saw him glaring. He felt like he should've done something that day that Wade ran off from the mission scene. Something was also telling him that he should forgive and forget, but it vanished without a trace. He had no room for doubting himself. Suddenly more awake from when he carried Growlie up the ladder, he started to follow the lead of the other guild members with his own partner at his side. He began to wonder if they would run into a fierce enemy on the way there, and got caught into a little daydream about fighting. Volt snapped awake once more when someone had stepped on a twig of some sort. He was awake, but he was itching to do something..more vehement.
To distract himself, he turned to Growlie and tried to get a small conversation going. "So, uh, what are you planning on getting? Besides stuff we need, of course," He whispered to her, hoping she'd reply back nicely. Not with some harsh retort.

Growlie itched away from him a little bit- They were too close, it bothered her. She didn't like him whispering like that, as she was more used to... his Jerky, annoying self. Anyways, she looked at him for a second and grumbled "I'm hoping I can find something to make me stronger. But only if it's cute." Maybe that would throw him off. But she had the slight feeling that her partner was up to something...
Looking away from the sheep, she noticed how Wade was tugging on his neck, only to realize his Scarf wasn't there. 'Maybe I can get him a new one, as a sign of our....' She stopped, staring at the ground- remembering how Wade didn't particularly want to talk to her. What a long trip this one was going to be...
