Growlie looked around before realizing Wade had actually left. She began her mad dash to him, skidding to a stop when by his side. She prepared her trillion questions, slowing her pace to his. "What was THAT?! Why'd ya blush....?!?!??!? Do you like........Cecil?" She questioned; He became redder and redder, and she figured she should stop there.

"U-uh... I... Um... Uh..." Wade reddened with every breath he took. Was it really that obvious!? "Maybe..." Ugh! He hoped nobody else knew...

"W-wait."
Wade was already out the door and out of sight before Cecil even got a chance to respond to his strange behavior. Every time he tried to help or... well, every time he even spoke, it seemed to send him running. He frowned, grip tightening on his mask. Perhaps he was used to having this effect on people. It wasn't the first time. Probably wouldn't be the last.
He suddenly disappeared, cowl and all- losing his physical state and becoming completely invisible to the eye. Only his mask remained intact, floating alone. They had reached their destination, at least. Now all he had to do was wait. And in the meantime-
Maybe it'd be best if he just kissed wade on the lips.

"Well?! You still haven't answered the other questions. I'm dying of impatience, here!" She whispered as they met up before Edgar. Kaleb and Lunetta were there, Volt, Cecil and Irchid nowhere to be found. Growlie went back and subtly nudged the poor boy, goving him a glare as if it was required for him to respond.

"Augh!! Yes, I've got a crush on Cecil, OKAY!?" Wade half-whispered. "A little one... He--" Wade was interrupted by Edgar loudly clearing his throat. "Today, uh, new guild members, we will be venturing into... Ahem... Shinba Forest!" He dramatically gestured toward the towering palms arching over the narrow entrance into the infamous rainforest, known to be home to many missing pokémon cases. "Our mayor has disappeared into this dew-drenched wood, and it is our duty to find and recover him! Everyone, split into your teams!"

Growlie grit her teeth at the fact that Wade was interrupted. "You're telling me everything later. Got it memorized?!" She demanded, leaping away and down the stairs to find her partner. "Volt!" She yelled immediately, zooming over to him. In result of the sprint, she bit his tail and proceeded to drag him back up without a word. He was, in fact, probably spitting profanities at her and wanting for her to stop, but she didn't particularly care.

Nearly forgetting that there was a meeting, he was surprised by Growlie's voice, and even more surprised when she bit his tail. Immediately feeling pain, he cried, yelling, "Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch!! Teeth off the tail, pleease!" He whined, trying to get Growlie off and considering to try to hit her with the orb on his tail.

A 'boink' noise emerged as he hit her. "Could you please--" She started before grunting out of pain. It shocked her, but only a little bit. "We have to go!" She growled at him, finally letting go of his tail. "Apparently, so it seems, you're too slow to even come up the stairs!" She barked, marching back to her only friend, Wade, and beckoned the stupid sheep to come over.

The mayor? So that's what all the commotion was about. Cecil hadn't been in Rainshine for very long... at least this explained his confusion.
The lone mask turned its 'face' as if too look around as the announcement sounded- one of his teammates had decided to disappear- he had some urgent business to attend to, perhaps. So, that left only one. The mask hovered through the air to reunite with its owner's only other partner, Orchid. Cecil was still out of sight, but at least the others could see where he was... or, could they? Again, a bit difficult to tell. He sure wasn't making things any easier.

"Er, uh, once you've gathered your teams, please meet with me outside of the guild tent! We will enter the forest together, teams in order by strength- by level, I mean. I will stand in front of our group- so the weakest teams aren't the first to be bombarded with enemies- behind me, Kaleb and Lunetta, behind them, Volt and Growlie, and behind them, Cecil, Orchid, and Wade." Edgar didn't stop for a breath once his whole speech- he's not very good at speaking to an audience.

Wade, still very red and upset about having to spill the beans the way he did, didn't want to show his face near his teammates like this. He drilled down into the ground rather messily in his haste, and listened. He would follow underground when the guild finally entered the forest- hopefully nobody would notice he was gone.

Growlie grunted when hearing their placement. "Are we that weak?" she mumbled to herself, looking downwards. That is, until she felt the ground rumbling a bit. Looking forward, she found a small hole- Probably made by Wade. 'He left again?' She sighed after thinking to herself.

Walking up to Growlie, he heard her complain about the placement. Shaking his head, he mumbled, "I wouldn't let it worry you. I wouldn't let Wade's disappearing act trouble you either." Volt didn't really sympathize with the mole, but he sort of understood how it felt. He took a huge breath and let it out, telling himself that he's prepared for the journey he was about to partake in.

Cecil took his place in the line of Rescuers, not paying much mind to the order- eventually settling on the spot near Volt and Growlie's team. Edgar's description of their first mission wasn't quite what he had been expecting. In truth, he was a bit nervous to be exploring such a dangerous environment on the trail of someone who was (most likely) already dead.
But, turning back now wasn't really an option. And though he was uneasy, the mask's expression was unchanging, per the usual.

Growlie looked at Volt, quite unsure of what he meant, but after enough thinkings of the words he said, she eventually dropped the subject and nodded at his statement. She felt a ghostly aura, yet invisible, assuming it was perhaps maybe Cecil hiding somewhere. She had the experience- Back in her hometown, few few ghosts loved playing tricks. Growlie neared Wade's hole and stared deep down into it, almost even getting her snout stuck as she "smelled" for Wade.
